Intersekse Vlaanderen brings together people celebrating intersex variations. We curate our community by bringing our peers together and are active as a human rights movement involved in advocating for and protecting the rights of intersex babies, youth and adults. Far too often we are pushed into the “disorder” corner and end up becoming victims of Intersex Genital Mutilation. One (1) in 60 babies is born with an intersex variation, which is more than the number of twins in Belgium or the number of people with green eyes. Who do you know? #WeAreGolden
