Interstel Technologies, Inc. is a technology spin-off company of the University of Hawai’i, incorporated in 2014. The company works closely with the Hawai’i Space Flight Laboratory (HSFL). The primary purpose of Interstel Technologies is to develop and market Interstel’s Comprehensive Open-architecture Solution for Mission Operations Systems (iCOSMOS™) that was developed at the Hawaii Space Flight Laboratory with the assistance of a NASA grant. Interstel™ provides software solutions to operate satellites and other aerospace exploration vehicles. Interstel Technologies Inc. has pioneered iCOSMOS™. This technology provides an ecosystem to support all aspects of mission operations for multiple diverse assets.
