As the General Manager and Corporate VP of a Taiwan based Medical Division, Doug led the initial product introduction and then grew customers, employees, and product portfolio to more than 5 times over 6 years. The division developed and manufactured diabetes and imaging solutions. A few products included - glucose meters, endoscopes, and electronics for X-ray equipment. Customers were based in the USA, Europe, Asia, and Japan.
Before this, Doug worked 6 years in Singapore for Hewlett Packard. As an R&D Director, he established and actively led Labs in Singapore, USA, China, and Taiwan. The Labs developed - OfficeJet printers, Mobile printers, B-size printers, Digital Cameras, ASICs, Firmware, and Web-based Solutions. His key expertise was creating R&D organizations while establishing robust processes that delivered high-quality product designs.
