International Hope Builders (IHB)

Using a patented Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) Construction process developed by Lazarian World Home System, IHB provides affordable, efficient, sustainable homes, clinics, and schools to alleviate extreme poverty and dire living conditions in Honduras. We partner with local government, churches, orphanages and agencies to identify widows, children and families in desperate need of shelter to restore dignity, hope, and the most basic human needs to the poorest of the poor. Local governments contribute funds toward each project and the families selected provide volunteer labor, when physically possible, to help build the homes to ensure a sense of ownership and pride The board members of IHB are retired construction veterans with a combined 100+ years of experience in commercial and residential construction who have dedicated their lives to volunteering. All board members are volunteers, receiving no income from the organization and paying all travel expenses to ensure over 98% of donated funds go directly to families in need.
