For over 45 years, INTOCAST AG has been one of the worldwide leading specialists for refractory products and plant engineering. We are one of the few companies that are globally manufacturing and marketing shaped as well as unshaped refractory products, casting auxiliaries and metallurgical slag conditioners. Our products for the iron and steel industry are of constantly high quality and efficiency levels. Furthermore, we offer our customers individual and perfectly tailor-made plant engineering solutions – from design stages through to commissioning of the entire range of products and systems, as you would have guessed. Founded in 1979, INTOCAST took over the business activities of Eugen Schwarz GmbH, who, since 1922, had been supplying the German and European steel industry with consumables for iron and steelmaking. Through mergers and acquisitions, the INTOCAST Group has grown over the decades into an enterprise that is now active globally. INTOCAST has a network of 12 German and 19 foreign sites, employing 2,000 staff members worldwide, with a consolidated group turnover of approx. 450 million euros per annum (as of April 2023).
