The Centre for Integrative Sports Nutrition (CISN) was created to train and mentor nutrition and exercise professionals to nourish an athlete’s health and performance through an expansive way of integrative and personalised thinking. An 'athlete' is any individual who moves on a regular basis. They bridge the gap between two very separate disciplines: the prevailing sports nutrition approach, sometimes called performance nutrition, and the rapidly emerging integrative, or functional, approach to nutrition and health.
CISN hosts an array of online educational courses, ranging from 10 credit hour continuing education modules, through a practitioner-focussed certificate course, to a extensive internationally recognised postgraduate Level 7 Diploma programme. The short modules are run over 4-week periods, the certificate course takes around 9 months, and the diploma course can be completed over a duration of one to two years.
• Short course – 10 credit hour CPD/CEU immersion
• Specialty modules – 20 credit hour specialist areas of CPD/CEU study, including: Hypertrophy, Mitochondria, Ergogenics, Gastrointestinal, REDs, Mind-Body.
• Natural Sports Cookery - 30 credit hour food-focussed course
• Certificate course – 120 hour practitioner training programme
• Level 7 Diploma course – internationally accredited postgraduate course (equivalent to 2/3rd of a masters degree)
