Involving Architecture was established by Paulo LC da Costa in July 2009 in Durban, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. Prior to this, Paulo practiced as Paulo Luis da Costa - Pr. Architect, since 1997. In 2013, Andre Roosenschoon joined the practice as partner. Both partners are well grounded in the technical and design realms and assume equal responsibility for the practice and its activities. The partners have individually gained a broad experience and knowledge base over a 25 year journey, encompassing a variety of market sectors. We believe that architecture should involve and inspire end users, be environmentally sustainable, cost effective, innovative and creative. We believe that architecture must be borne from pragmatic responses to project programs, sites and typologies.
