Mental health is the people you're surrounded by. The conversations you explicitly have and avoid. The expectations thrown and stereotypes lodged into you. Mental health is examining what family, permission, and identity mean to you... all while balancing a bowl of cut fruit, your GPA, and a meal plan that's never "just the right amount of points." in-between is a student-led, student-run pan-Asian mental health conference based at Washington University in St. Louis. Our conferences have attracted 500+ attendees and speakers such as Charles Yu (author of Interior Chinatown), Jason Y. Lee (founder of Jubilee Media), Dr. Mimi Khúc (spearhead of Open in Emergency), and therapists/influencers Dr. Han Ren and Dr. Vania Manipod. For more information, check our website!
