Inyosi Empowerment

Inyosi Empowerment company information, Employees & Contact Information

Inyosi Empowerment is one of the most established Enterprise and Supplier Development third party providers in South Africa. Since inception in 2012, Inyosi has directly and indirectly assisted over 20,000 black beneficiaries, and supported over 326,728 jobs across key sectors of the South African economy. Inyosi Empowerment – the BEE specialists – draws inspiration from the African honeybee (Inyosi is the Nguni word for honeybee). A beehive embodies individuals working together for a common good. Inyosi Empowerment draws together companies and black-owned businesses sustainably aiming for transformational impact through the provision of development finance to target borrowers. Inyosi Enterprise Development and the Inyosi Supplier Development are two specialist investment funds that focus on providing funding and ancillary support to black-owned businesses. Since inception, over 500 companies have invested in Inyosi’s investment fund and have enjoyed a professional, informed and market-leading solution for their BEE scorecard needs. Inyosi Empowerment is able to offer existing and prospective clients a comprehensive solution to their enterprise and supplier development needs. Inyosi focuses on three key areas which we believe are vital for SMMEs: 1. Access to funding – with our development funding mindset our funding is able to assist small businesses with their growth plans, 2. Access to markets – iHive is an online preferential procurement portal with a three year track record which seeks to create an intuitive, electronically enabled, b2b market between our 500 corporate investors and our black owned beneficiaries, and 3. Access to skills – crucially Inyosi recognizes the growing pains of small companies. We look to assist our beneficiaries with grant funding to address shortcomings in their businesses on a non-prescriptive manner (i.e. we do not dictate any interventions – we are responsive to our borrowers needs)
