2001 yılında İngiltere'de perakendecilere doğal taş fayansları ve mozaik tedarik etmek için kurulan Ionic Stone, kuşkusuz İngiltere'nin en büyük taş dağıtıcıları ve büyük projelere imza atan firmalarından biri haline geldi. Büyümenin devam etmesi nedeniyle 20.000 sqft alana sahip mevcut fabrikamız 2006 yılında satın alındı. 2008 yılında meydana gelen küresel kredi krizinden sonra, şirket yöneticileri şirketi dikey olarak büyütme kararı aldılar. Bir sonraki yıl, firma Denizli, Türkiye’de fabrikanın kurulması ve Burdur ile Balıkesir’de taş ocaklarının alınmasıyla birlikte mermer üretimi üzerine büyük bir yatırım yapmıştır İngiltere'deki ekonomik durgunluğa ragmen, 2015 yılında şirketin sürekli büyümesi sayesinde Cambridgeshire'daki Peterborough'da 70.000 m²'lik bir dağıtım merkezi açılmıştır. İngiltere’deki depomuzda, dünyanın her yerinden ithal edilen 100.000 m2'den fazla fayans ve döşeme bulunmaktadır.
Ionic Stone was created at the beginning of millennium when we realised that the UK building industry had been missing something basic but vital - good quality natural stone tiles at reasonable prices, Since then, Ionic Stone has unquestionably become the UK’s one of the largest stone distributors and project management firms. The current HQ in St Albans with 20,000 sqft storage-facility was acquired in 2006. After the global credit crisis, a decision was taken to vertically enlarge the firm into stone processing. In the following years, a state-of-the-art processing plant in Denizli was set up and two marble quarries (one in Burdur and the other in Balikesir) were also acquired. In 2015, the sustained growth of the company led to the acquisition of a purpose-built 70,000 sq ft distribution centre in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The UK operation houses more than 200,000 m2 of tiles and slabs imported from all over the world.
