IOPER has existed since 2015 but was officially recognized by the Burundian government on 14th April 2022 via a ministerial order no 530/373/.
With more than 50 founding members, it mainly brings together teachers, researchers from Burundi and other East African Community State members with the goal of promoting education and research in our respective countries
IOPER is a body of proposals giving a scientific perspective to educational debates.
IOPER is involved in organizing conferences and workshops that discuss the role of scientific research within the EAC development goals.
