IOSH Edinburgh Community

IOSH Edinburgh Community represents over 1000 members who generally come from the Lothians and the Borders and West Fife who work for a large variety of organisations. The Edinburgh Community collaborates with the other four Scottish branches to run the IOSH Scotland committee. This brings the Communities together with the IOSH professional staff, IOSH Council and Board of Trustees, to provide synergy to the work of the Communities in promoting IOSH in Scotland and also link in with the Partnership on Health and Safety in Scotland (PHASS) network. We believe one of our key duties is to encourage members to developer prospects by achieving Chartered membership of IOSH. A principal function of the Community mentors is to help members to do this. They particularly concentrate on helping new Graduate Members through the Initial Professional Development (IPD) process to achieve Chartered status.
