Iosynth develops and upscales bio-based processes. We combine the fields of biocatalysis or fermentation with organic chemistry, allowing us and our customers to implement diverse routes of synthesis which are cost effective & better for the environment. We believe in the principles of green chemistry and are in a constant pursuit to find better ways.
Specifically, we develop and produce our own products, from inception & proof-of-concept, to upscaling all the way to multi-ton manufacturing.
Additionally, we also offer our expertise & experience to external customers as a CRO/CDMO service offering. We work with clients to:
• Optimize fermentation process protocols & downstream processing for enzymes and other fermentation end products
• Develop and upscale biocatalytic processes for the pharma, agro-chemical, cosmetics and fine chemical industry. This can include chemical processing steps as well.
• Use Iosynth’s core technologies (biocatalysis & fermentation combined with chemistry) to upscale and manufacture chemical/pharmaceutical products at commercial scale
