IoT Austria - The Austrian Internet of Things Network - was founded in May 2014 by Harald Pichler. Harald is the chairman of OSDOMOTICS, a Vienna based research association for Open Source Software and Open Source Hardware for the Internet of Things and Services. This is a group for any professional interested in Internet of Things Smart Home Automation Industrie 4.0 Smart City Wearable Technologies Open Source Hardware and Software Hardware Design Software Development Business Models Use Cases Best Cases new projects and startups We cover topics like Smart Sensors, Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks, M2M, Big-Data, Cloud-Services, 6LoWPAN, Bluetooth, MQTT, MQTT-SN, COAP, Widgets, Gadgets and so on. We will have monthly IoT Talks with talks from group members and external speakers in different cities across Austria. And we will offer several IoT Workshops. ...and sometimes we will meet for lunch. All skills levels are welcome - we have started this group to meet all kind of other IoT enthusiasts!
