IOTech LLC manufactures the TALKBox®, a patent pending interoperable communications platform, , which provides both continuity of operations and emergency communications. The TALKBox® enables all different forms of communication to bring together to a common format so that users can communication with one another. TALKBox® is a cost effective, mulit-communications package that interconnects mobile radio, land lines, cellular, and data. The portable system can be deployed where it is needed, providing emergency and operational management both locally and connectivity back to the central office thorough multiple media. TALKBox can be configured to maintain compliance with local code for building interoperability, as well as a portable communications solution that is field deployable in a matter of minutes. The unit interconnects many different types of communications from mobile radio (analog & digital), cellular (GSM, CDMA, 3G/UMTS/4G/LTE), land line phones, IP phones and Satellite. This allows the concurrent use of both newer and older generation equipment allowing them to speak to each other – extending the service life of current communication equipment. Internally, the TALKBox brings operation of all communication equipment into a common format. Externally, the TALKBox can be connected to the outside world through multiple media, using least cost routing to provide the user with the least expensive communication in a seamless process, transparent to the multiple users.
