About IPAC Saskatchewan
The Institute of Public Administration of Canada, known as IPAC, is a national organization with the motto: “Dedicated to excellence in public service.” Founded in 1947, IPAC is a dynamic membership-based association of people who work in, study and support a professional public service as an essential part of our democratic government. The Saskatchewan Regional Group was formed in 1962 and is one of 19 regional groups nationwide. Our purpose is to foster a community of excellence in public service as an impartial local forum and as part of a national and international network of practitioners and scholars advancing the interests of public administration. We work to do this in several ways: - serve as a meeting place for public policy practitioners and academics; - provide the opportunity to share best practices and increase networking among colleagues; and - develop leading-edge knowledge and champion innovation and leadership IPAC membership is built from individuals from all levels of government, academia, and those interested in public administration. IPAC creates effective knowledge networks and promotes public administration research in Canada.
