Inspired by the practice of basket weaving, the IPCA Knowledge Basket represents the strength, beauty, and abundance we can create by weaving together Indigenous and western science, innovation, and knowledge.
The IPCA Knowledge Basket operates as a ‘digital commons’, envisioned to be a community of like-minded and -hearted Indigenous governments, organizations, and initiatives. As such, it is not ‘owned’ by any one entity, but is guided by Indigenous leadership.
The IPCA Knowledge Basket is a legacy initiative of the Conservation through Reconciliation Partnership and is stewarded by the IISAAK OLAM Foundation.
