ACCEL (Alumni of Center for Creative Entrepreneur Leaders) is a network for young entrepreneurs who studied at the gifted centers operated by KAIST and POSTECH. Each center provides a intensive 2-year program designed to cultivate the next-generation of CEOs with distinctive leadership.
This program was initiated in 2009 by the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) under the leadership of Professor Min-Hwa Lee, a founder of KOSDAQ and a pioneer in the Korean startup ecosystem. Over 1,000 students have completed the program* and are now active in startups, international organizations, government, and academia.
ACCEL was established in 2020 with the support of the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA) to facilitate meaningful connections among alumni.
