Looking back at the past decade, Indigenous Peoples Cultural Foundation (IPCF) has experienced and accomplished numerous “impossible” tasks: from executing culture and arts affairs, running Taiwan Indigenous TV and Alian 96.3 Indigenous Radio, to gradually securing the media access right of indigenous peoples. In 2012, the Foundation set up the Pulima Art Award and Festival which focuses on indigenous cultures and arts. In 2014, we obtained our satellite broadcasting license to legally run Taiwan Indigenous TV; and in 2017, the Alian 96.3 Indigenous Radio station was officially established, setting up a platform for indigenous peoples to voice their thoughts and opinions. With the support and assistance from various groups and agencies in the past ten years, IPCF managed to build our unique brand in the fields of television and radio media, and culture and arts. We actively promote TITV16, Alian96.3, and Pulima as indigenous media brands to share our indigenous culture and voices, and present them to different corners around the world.
