IPER - Institute of Psychological and Educational Research

IPER, Institute of Psychological and Educational Research, is a voluntary organization working with the disadvantaged population of the state especially women and children since 1971. Set up as a non-profit voluntary organisation with a band of dedicated team of workers it is working in the slums of Kolkata city for extending to the dwellers the basic necessities of life. Vision Emergence of a society which is just, equitable and humane without strife, abuse, violence, exploitation, discrimination based on the rights of all sections of the population. Mission All-round development of the underprivileged, especially children with a special focus on the girl child, and women irrespective of their caste, social and economic standing in keeping with the principle of their best interest through education, capacity building, empowerment with related developmental areas like health, ecology, sustainability and well being.
