IPR Conversions (Switzerland) Ltd acquired from Leonardo (former Alenia) the ATR Passenger-to-Freighter conversion STCs covering worldwide exclusive Large Cargo Door (LCD) conversion of used ATRs and the Bulk Freighter (BFC) conversions.
The LCD boasts a 2.94m x 1.8 m (116” x 71”) door - 272% larger door opening (Standard door - 1.27m x 1.53 m (50” x 60”)), with a 110° door opening with a 1.05m still height (41”) / 3.5 ft, class "E" cargo compartment, suitable for 5x ABZ pallets (88"x108") or 7x LD3 containers.
The quality of IPR BFC, with a floor width of 89" (226 cm) versus 81" (206 cm) from other STC providers together with an available volume of 75.5 cbm (9.7% more than competition) coupled with the highest floor weight resistance available, makes it a work horse for the integrator industry and the charter community.
