Indian Planetary Science Association

The Association aims to promote Planetary Science and related branches of science in India. To achieve this, it encourages the study of all aspects of Planetary Science and facilitates the advancement, dissemination, and application of knowledge in this field. The Association also promotes active interaction among individuals, educational and research institutions, and industries interested in Planetary Science, and issues publications such as bulletins, journals, and newsletters to disseminate information. It holds periodic scientific meetings, encourages coordinated research programs among Indian scientists, and exchanges research personnel between institutions and universities in India. The Association also keeps liaisons with other planetary science societies worldwide, institutes lectures, prizes, and fellowships, and expresses the views of the Planetary Science community in India regarding the current status and future developments in the field. Additionally, the Association performs any other activities and functions that further advance Planetary Science and related sciences in India.
