IQAS - International Quality and Accreditation Services

International Quality and Accreditation Services (IQAS) commenced operations in 2021 to cater to the needs of ever-increasing accreditation services in the country. Services relate to accreditation of various types of laboratories in the country, specifically in the field of testing: calibration and medical testing as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO 15189:2012. Other accreditation services will also be offered in the future based on the demands of the laboratories and accreditation stakeholders. IQAS is now a Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) signatory of Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC). This ensures that IQAS is equivalent to other global accreditation bodies. IQAS is committed to providing impartial, non-discriminatory and hassle-free accreditation services to the laboratories and compliance to regulatory bodies in line with international standards of ISO/IEC 17011:2017 and requirements and guidelines of APAC and ILAC. Their mission is to provide economic, hassle-free, and timely accreditation services to desirous laboratories and their vision is to make accreditation an available and accessible service by accrediting testing; calibration, and medical testing laboratories in every sector in a manner that benefits all stakeholders.
