To promote and facilitate the business activities of Iranian traders and economic actors in China across various sectors—including commerce, manufacturing, industry, investment, services, and research—and to leverage diverse capabilities, perspectives, and collective participation in addressing the challenges faced by Iranian businesses in China, the "Chamber of Commerce of Iranians Residing in China" was established. This chamber comprises Iranian individuals and legal entities engaged in economic activities within China.
The Eastern Branch of the Chamber of Commerce of Iranians Residing in China commenced its operations in 2012. In 2015, it joined forces with the Beijing and Guangzhou branches to establish the Nationwide Chamber of Commerce of Iranians Residing in China. Iranian traders and economic operators based in the eastern and central regions of China fall under the support and jurisdiction of the Eastern Branch. It is the only official and legally recognized organization representing Iranian merchants in China, having been endorsed by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and introduced to China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs.
