L'Institut de Recerca Biomèdica de Lleida Fundació Dr. Pifarré (IRBLleida) es va crear amb l'objectiu de crear sinergies entre la recerca bàsica, clínica i epidemiològica, fent de la recerca biomèdica un motor clau per a millorar la pràctica clínica actual. L’IRBLleida cobreix una cadena de recerca traslacional, des de la recerca bàsica, dirigida a entendre els mecanismes fisiològics i patològics del cos humà, fins a la recerca que estudia el comportament de les malalties en grans grups de població.

El Instituto de Investigación Biomédica de Lleida Fundació Dr. Pifarré (IRBLleida) se creó con el objetivo de crear sinergias entre la investigación básica, clínica y epidemiológica, haciendo de la investigación biomédica un motor clave para mejorar la práctica clínica actual. El IRBLleida cubre una cadena de investigación traslacional, desde la investigación básica, dirigida a entender los mecanismos fisiológicos y patológicos del cuerpo humano, hasta la investigación que estudia el comportamiento de las enfermedades en grandes grupos de población.

The Biomedical Research Institute of Lleida Fundació Dr. Pifarré (IRBLleida) was established with the aim of creating synergies between basic, clinical and epidemiological research, making biomedical research a key driver to improve current clinical practice. IRBLleida covers a chain of translational research, from basic research, aimed at understanding the physiological and pathological mechanisms of the human body, to research that studies the behavior of diseases in large population groups.
