The Irish Information Security Forum (IISF) was established primarily to improve the understanding and practice of Cybersecurity and Information Security within the Irish business computer user community.
This has grown to be a gathering of security professionals, IT and cybersecurity practitioners from a variety of industries including finance, utilities, insurance, and government with associates from among the consultant and cybersecurity vendor community.
Specific objectives have been set to help achieve a goal of continuous improvement-
*Facilitate the exchanging of information and sharing of experiences of mutual interest
*Provide a focal point for the users of various information/cyber security products
*Hold regular meetings and presentations on Information Security and Information Risk topics
*Represent the views of Information/Cyber Security and Information Risk practitioners on matters of public concern
*Promote best security practice and standards
