To improve maternal, new-born and child health in Punjab, especially of the poor thereby making real progress towards achieving health related MDGs and contribute to reduction in:
1. Maternal mortality ratio from 227/100,000 live births in 2006-07 to less than 140/100,000 live births by end 2016
2. Under-five mortality rate from 104/1000 live births in 2011 to 52/1000 live births by end 2016
3 .Total fertility rate from 3.6 in 2011 to 3.2 by end 2016
4. Prevalence of stunting from 36% in 2011 to 32% by end 2016
