About The International Replication Repair Deficiency Consortium (IRRDC)
The International Replication Repair Deficiency Consortium (IRRDC) is a collaborative research initiative that aims to better understand and manage rare genetic conditions that result from the loss of DNA replication repair. Collaborating with clinicians and scientists from more than 45 countries around the world, we focus on the study of Constitutional Mismatch Repair Deficiency Syndrome (CMMRD) – but our research extends to all replication repair deficiency syndromes, including paediatric Lynch Syndrome and Polymerase Proofreading-Associated Polyposis (PPAP). We also facilitate diagnosis through CLIA-approved testing at SickKids, Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and several other leading mismatch repair clinical laboratories in the world. The IRRDC is centrally located in Toronto, Canada, as part of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). https://linktr.ee/replicationrepair
