What is IRT3000?
The IRT3000 magazine is a fresh contribution to Slovenian media, covering the fields of innovation, research & development and technologies, which are developed, implemented or used by the Slovenian economy. Therefore we decided to name the new magazine IRT – Innovation, R&D, Technology – with a focus on the new millennium.
The magazine is going to deliver news from home and abroad, with an emphasis on the Slovenian metalworking industry, information technology and non-metal technologies. The IRT3000 magazine is going to introduce variety into Slovenian press, specialised for mechanical engineering, as it will also cover the fields of plastics and other nonmetal materials processing. We are also going to track the activities in the IT sector, which forms an indispensable part of industrial processes.

Številka 3000 in tri črke v imenu (I, R in T) so tu z razlogom. V reviji IRT3000 predstavljamo Inovacije, Razvoj in Tehnologije, ki gospodarstvu tlakujejo pot v novo milenijsko obdobje.
Revija IRT3000 poroča o novostih, dosežkih in dobrih praksah v naprednih tehniških in drugih industrijskih panogah. Z informiranjem strokovnih javnosti spodbuja prenos rešitev in znanja v industrijo. Vse to z namenom dosegati konkurenčnejše gospodarstvo. Revija predstavlja tudi osrednji vir informacij strokovnjakom v proizvodnji in služi kot priročnik, kadar se pri svojem delu soočajo s strokovnimi izzivi.
Cilj revije je spodbujati prenos znanja in novih tehnologij v industrijo ter pospeševati povezovanje med področji. Revija IRT3000 je edinstvena v tem, da povezuje toliko raznolikih segmentov in tako ohranja bogato multidisciplinarno vsebino. Za kakovost prispevkov skrbita uredniški odbor in strokovni svet, ki ju sestavljamo priznani strokovnjaki in akademiki, raziskovalci in novinarji.
