Environmental Engineering Group - UTV

We are a team of professors, researchers, and PhD students working in the field of Environmental Engineering, addressing a wide range of topics through innovative and multidisciplinary approaches. Our research focuses on the remediation and management of contaminated sites, CO₂ capture, storage, and utilization, water treatment technologies, waste management strategies, the valorization of industrial residues, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Within these fields, we are involved in the design and management of remediation interventions, human health risk assessment, feasibility studies for water and soil treatment processes, LCA studies and the development of software and computational models. We also conduct advanced studies on the characterization of environmental matrices. Our group is involved in several national and international research projects and collaborates with various universities and research institutes both in Italy and abroad.
