ISAAC BALAMI FOUNDATION

Isaac David Balami (IBF) is focused on social services and social protection for people affected by conflict, humanitarian crises and natural disaster. Registered on the 4th of April 2012 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria, the non-profit-organisation aims to support survivors recover and rebuild their communities and livelihoods in a safe and sustainable manner. IBF provides access to Free, inclusive and quality educational services through Accelerated Learning Programs (ALP), Early Childhood Development (EDC), enrolment and retention of out of school children (OOSC), orphanage services and children at risk of dropping out of primary education especially girls. Other activities of IBF include the access to lifelong technical and vocational skills to adults and adolescents, access to water and sanitation, health care, empowerment of community members for socio – economic growth and development streamlined in the achievement of an egalitarian society. The Organisation adopts a human rights approach to advocating for children’s education, and supporting the – Zero Out of School Children campaign. Vision: To deliver lifelong and long-lasting programs to positively impact social change, Poverty free economically self -reliant and independent individuals with increased literacy rate. Mission Statement: Helping the poor, empowering and uniting people to restore hope and dignity to the seemingly hopeless. Goal: To make our programs and services effective and in line with inter – agency global standards by delivering cost effective, and people-centred programs, through innovative ideas and techniques.
