Isatay Operating Company Limited Liability Partnership has been founded in accordance the Contract for combined exploration and production of hydrocarbons dated June 25, 2015, registration number No. 4160- YBC-M3., as the Operator of offshore petroleum operations on Block “Isatay” contracted area which is located in the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea, 45 km north of the coast of the Bozashy Peninsula. The depth of water of the “Isatay” Block is between two and seven meters.
The right for subsoil use is shared among: «KazMunayGas NC JSC» and «Eni lsatay B.V.» 50% each;
Principal views of prospecting works on a contract site the next years are:
· Carrying out field seismic work and interpretation of the data.
· Drilling exploratory wells for the purpose of detection of deposits of hydrocarbon raw materials.
Planned oil operations in contract territory will be carried out in strict accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of environmental management, with principle observance «zero dump», guaranteeing minimum influence on the sea ecosystems. All industrial and domestic waste are going to be taken ashore and disposed of. In addition, environmental monitoring of the state of the environment is going to be carried out during the works.
