ISCOS Pakistan

ISCOS has been present in Pakistan since 1998. It was the first Italian NGO to provide humanitarian assistance in the country and, to date, is also one of the few Italian civil society organisations still active in Pakistan. Over the course of these 25 years of activity, various initiatives have been carried out, including those in support of populations affected by natural disasters (earthquakes and floods), wars (internally displaced persons, Afghan refugees and host communities) and a labour system (forced labour, child labour and domestic exploitation) still in the grip of poverty and underdevelopment
