ISeeYouCare, Inc. is a health IT software and solutions developer located in Evansville, Indiana. The company was but one mission; bring about change in the nation’s Healthcare System to the benefit of patients, caregivers, and the industry itself. Over the last 10 years, ISeeYouCare has developed the largest eco-system of patient-centric, data-driven healthcare solutions of its kind. The company was founded by Robert E. Higgs. As often is the case in real life situations, the vision and subsequent technologies, as developed and marketed by the company, were birthed from a near tragedy involving Mr. Higgs’ wife, Carole. Mrs. Higgs was admitted to an acute care hospital facility for a common surgical procedure that, normally speaking, was expected to last only two to three days. Over the next 35 days, with 27 days in an ICU environment, Carole found herself fighting for her very life due to errors, misjudgments, and lack of actionable data. Mr. Higgs observed that many of the very systems, for which his wife Carole’s wellbeing rested, were either flawed or simply nonexistent. Mr. Higgs, himself an engineer, made a commitment to his wife and himself that he would apply all his experience and abilities to help bring about change to an industry that, for far too long, has resisted fundamental change in many areas having to do with clinical decision making. Fueled by passion that often occurs through adversity, Mr. Higgs formed ICUcare LLC, the predecessor to ISeeYouCare, Inc. in 2008. ISeeYouCare develops and licenses disruptive healthcare solutions in the form of patient-centered medical technologies. In 2012 Mr. Higgs founded and started a sister company Global Care International.
