Isentropy℠ LLC is a Vermont-based software and data science consulting company founded in 2013. We work both remotely and on-site, and specialize in quantitative programming, big data, security, and real-time processing. We work extensively with Apache Accumulo, Docker, and Mesos, and offer headache-free infrastructure solutions that use the best open source technologies to create large, real-time, distributed systems. Consulting Projects: A scalable, distributed, real-time web traffic scanning service for Bloomberg LP's compliance system. Opensource Projects: Accumulo Collections is a lightweight library by Isentropy that dramatically simplifies development of fast NoSQL applications by encapsulating many powerful, distributed features of Accumulo in the familiar Java Collections interface. Accumulo is a giant sorted map with rich server-side functionality, and our AccumuloSortedMap is a robust java SortedMap implementation that is backed by an Accumulo table. It handles serialization and foreign keys, and provides extensive server-side features like entry timeout, aggregates, filtering, efficient one-to-many mapping, partitioning and sampling. You can add your own Accumulo iterators to derive new maps.
