Ish Entertainment is a full-service production company developing and producing premium documentary and non-scripted series and films and scripted television. It has delivered projects to a wide variety of networks and platforms, including HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Hulu, Starz, Comedy Central, Lifetime, VH1, WE, MTV, Logo, Sundance, Oxygen, Freeform and many more. Ish’s latest documentary, "Kill Chain: The Cyber War on America’s Elections" (currently streaming on HBO), was lauded by Time Magazine as an “unnervingly persuasive documentary [that shows] just how fragile our democracy really is.” Ish is currently producing a series for Comedy Central called "This Week at the Comedy Cellar", and is producing documentaries on Iran, the afterlife of champion boxer Gary Balletto, and a high-school marching band in South Africa. Ish's last documentary, the critically acclaimed GRINGO, premiered at Toronto before airing on Showtime. Multi-Emmy award-winning founder and CEO Michael Hirschorn is the former head of programming at VH1, where he doubled ratings and tripled revenue for the network, while also launching a documentary skein that produced dozens of award-winning projects. He has been a columnist for The Atlantic and a contributor to multiple publications, including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and New York Magazine, and is a founder of The People Pac, which creates low-cost videos and develops social media distribution strategies for progressive candidates around the country. He is also a founder of GreenlightGo (www.greenlightgo.tv), a new platform designed to provide sharing economy solutions for video producers.
