Created in 1953, the International Student Identity Card is the only internationally accepted proof of full-time student status. The ISIC card is currently issued in over 130 countries and gives access to more than 42,000 discounts and benefits worldwide for approximately 5 million cardholders each year. We also offer a youth card for those under 30 (the IYTC) and a teacher card for full time teachers (the ITIC). The ISIC Association is the non-profit organisation behind the ISIC card. Through the wide range of opportunities available to cardholders, the ISIC Association aims to play a supporting role in improving intercultural understanding, increasing educational opportunities and facilitating student life across the world.
