Islamic Initiative for Leadership and Development (IILD) is a faith-based, non-profit, and non-governmental organization with the general purpose of identifying major and critical challenges facing young people in Nigeria and empowering them to reach their full potential. It also aims to critically examine and proffer possible solutions to prepare the young generation to become productive, civil, and responsible people through mentorship and humanitarian support. The organization also focuses on human development by working with various community stakeholders and agencies to bring significant positive changes to the people as a means of immensely contributing to nation-building so as to achieve the aspirations of the people. Mission Statement To identify, examine, and provide possible solutions to numerous challenges of young people through mentorship, empowerment, and humanitarian services. Vision Statement To be one of the leading NGOs in Islam and Nigeria with the purpose of transforming the lives of young people for the betterment of the communities in Nigeria and beyond. Core Values Responsible, Accountability, Welfare, Equality and Unity Objectives Prepare the next generation that will resolve human challenges through innovative ideas and skills significantly needed to provide systematic change in the community. Maintain and strengthen social relationships among religious adherents in order to create an atmosphere of respect and appreciation for human religious diversity. Contribute significantly and immensely to nation-building through positive social impact that will achieve the people's aspirations. Advocate for peaceful co-existence and harmony among various ethnic/religious groups that will translate to high level of sense of belonging and companionship among the people.
