Thanks to the support of people living in, working in, and who care about Islington, we are able to change lives for good in our borough.
Since 2010, we've worked with a diverse range of partners on innovative, effective support for local people. So far, we've reached almost 30,000 people, supported by over 8,000 volunteers.
We've done this because people living in Islington face complex challenges. We have the highest levels of depression and serious mental ill health in London. 38% of children here live in poverty. We have the least green space of any borough in the UK.
We are the first of 20 (and counting) members of London's Giving, a movement that is growing collaborative local philanthropy in the capital.
