ISM - Alabama

Since 1928, the Institute for Supply Management-Alabama, ISM-Alabama, has served supply management professionals of North Central Alabama through the promotion, development and application of purchasing and materials management methods and practices; the sharing of information of interest and benefit to members; the development and encouragement of high standards of personal and ethical conduct in our profession; the sponsorship, promotion and encouragement of professional certification programs within our profession; the encouragement and cooperation in the development of education courses, seminars, programs and materials on or related to our profession. In addition, the promotion and enhancement of the profession; the affiliation with the Institute for Supply Management and other purchasing and materials management organizations and the promotion of interchange of ideas and cooperation among its members. ISM offers certifications in Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) and Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD).
