IsoCentrix

With IsoCentrix, it is possible to perform quality control tests to measure the size of the isocenter of a linear accelerator. In addition, it is possible to obtain information about what errors there are and how to locate them in a linear accelerator so that, together with technical knowledge, the necessary adjustments can be made. With IsoCentrix, it is possible to know how the alignment between mechanical and radioactive isocenters is, and to have quantitative and precise data for each isocenter. IsoCentrix was developed with a focus on Elektas machines and using open source tools. All of its resources have been tested and adapted with the aim of being as practical as possible for daily testing and aiding in adjustments when necessary. Did you like this topic?
