Formed in 1972, iSON has an experienced team of technicians skilled in all aspects of the moulding process. With over 40 years’ experience in injection moulding with a vast range of engineering polymers, iSON has expanded its in-house moulding capability to include Assembly, Ultrasonic Welding and Printing. The flexibility of our operation in the UK allows us to serve clients with a wide range of requirements. Our facility allows us to offer tool trialling and troubleshooting through pre-production runs, right up to large scale final production. iSON Moulding have a 40 to 300 tonne moulding capability and all machines are fitted with core pulling functions. Prior to final tooling stages we offer pre-production runs to ensure we meet our customers’ requirements. Our in-house insert moulding and over moulding capabilities are complemented by our sonic and ultrasonic welding services. We also offer full post-moulding services which include ream, pack, drill, second operations, assembly and component polishing. From initial tool trialling through to production ready tooling and sign off, iSON Mouldings provide professional support during your component design stages. Our experience enables us to offer assistance during tool design, development and material selection as well managing any tooling modifications. This service includes tool trialling reports and advise on necessary tooling modifications.
