Au cœur de leurs travaux : le pouvoir, les identités politiques, la mémoire collective, le vote ou la participation citoyenne, les crises et conflits internationaux, l’intégration européenne, la politique étrangère et la diplomatie, la globalisation, les politiques publiques, l’administration publique et le management public, la gouvernance territoriale… Les membres de l’institut sont expert∙es en méthodes qualitatives (par exemple, les focus groups ou l’analyse thématique), quantitatives (par exemple, statistiques), et mixtes (par exemple, QCA).
