The Society provides an open public forum for policy makers and scientists promoting sound toxicologic and pharmacologic science as a basis for regulation affecting human safety and health, and the environment.
The organization has three objectives:
1.) Identify and prioritize scientific issues that would affect the development, modification, or application of regulations affecting human health and safety and the environment.
2.) Identify and engage the policy makers and scientists who would be most concerned with developing, modifying, or applying those regulations, or affected by their development, modification, or application.
3.) Provide an open public forum promoting the evaluation and application of sound toxicologic and pharmacologic science as a basis for developing new regulations or for modifying or applying existing regulations affecting human health and safety and the environment.
