‘ ISTAKA’ a Sanskrit word for a ceremonial brick , is a multi disciplinary design firm based out of Pune, India. It is primarily influenced by ethnic, vernacular and contemporary architecture.
Our design theory is enveloped in strong zoning principles that ensures clear circulation, maximum natural light to the spaces, and giving the space an open look. We experiment with local materials , colours and finishes ,creating ambient spaces, giving it a different look and character.
