We provide new entrepreneurs in Canada a platform to access vital resources, gain new knowledge, and participate as informed citizens in their communities across the country. Every year thousands of newcomers come to Canada, seeking to live a new life in a new country, wanting to start a new business, and willing to contribute to their communities. Many use their own knowledge and resources to become active members of the society while many cannot succeed because they do not have access to Canadian basic entrepreneurial resources, technologies, and knowledge. We are ourselves Canadian and first-generation immigrant entrepreneurs, educators, and community-organizers. We have had the opportunity and privilege to do business, to study, and to grow up in Canada. We also share our knowledge, know-how expertise, and platform with those who envision themselves as future entrepreneurs. iStartup team believes that entrepreneurial resources and opportunities should be available to all entrepreneurs fairly. As a registered nonprofit organization our mission is to fill the gap between the established and new entrepreneurs from underserved communities, providing them with tailored market knowledge, expertise, and resources to succeed.
