Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar Polytechnic, Jhargram, established in 1957, is a Govt. Polytechnic situated at Sevayatan, Jhargram, Paschim Medinipur. The Institute has been playing a pivotal role in imparting technical education (Diploma Level) in the tribal, rural, and semi-urban communities of this district. Now our polytechnic can proudly look back on its achievements over the past five decades and we strongly believe that the Institute will show the same performance in the years to come.
Students of our college are serving different private and government organizations all over the country and abroad. The Training & Placement Cell of the Institute has been able to place a good number of students in different organizations.
I.C.V. Polytechnic is conducting five Diploma Engineering courses including Computer Science, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Metallurgy. We are also offering a Part-time (Morning) 4-year Diploma Course for S.T students in three branches of engineering namely Civil, Electrical & Mechanical Engg. each has an intake capacity of 20 students.
