The "Small Computer Academy" project by IT STEP has been included in the list of the top 5 global projects in the "Capacity Building" category at the WSIS Prizes. The program of the Small Computer Academy has been recognized as one of the top five projects in human capacity development globally by UNESCO and the ITU (International Telecommunication Union from the UN). Students and graduates of the academy consistently achieve top positions in prestigious international IT competitions. Among our students' achievements is the first place in the International "Microsoft Imagine Cup" competition. The Time magazine recognized it as one of the best inventions of the year.
