Institute for Therapy through the Arts (ITA) is a nonprofit organization based in Evanston, Illinois, dedicated to providing accessible, evidence-based Creative Arts Therapy services. Since 1975, ITA has empowered individuals of all ages and abilities through Art, Dance, Drama/Movement, and Music Therapy.
Our licensed, board-certified therapists collaborate with schools, hospitals, residential programs, and community organizations to deliver personalized care that fosters emotional growth, enhances communication, and builds resilience. Beyond clinical services, ITA advances the field through professional training, research, and community engagement.
