Italian Language Foundation, Inc.

Under its mission to promote and sustain Italian language education within the U.S, the Italian Foundation, Inc., (ILF) provides support services to students and teachers of Italians. Our support services for students includes the Commitment 2 Excellence program offering Awards for Excellence to recognize students’ AP Italian exam achievements, mentorship and internships with U.S. Italian-based companies. For teachers, we provide professional development support via in-person and/or webinars to enhance their Italian language teaching skills, sponsor Summer Institutes and the Teacher Recognition Awards to recognize best use of innovation, pedagogical practices and classroom work.
